One business, two distinct roles

Lantern Psychology Centre is home to more than 40 psychologists and other mental health professionals providing therapeutic and assessment services from two central and tranquil locations in Deakin, ACT.

Lantern has two distinct functions. Primarily, it provides consulting rooms, shared facilities and professional support to independent practitioners. These practitioners share the physical space but operate their own individual practices, allowing clients to book and communicate directly with their chosen practitioner. Each practitioner is independently responsible for their professional services, client relationships, clinical records and privacy obligations.

The Lantern website has been designed to help prospective clients identify available practitioners with the experience, attributes and skills that may meet their individual needs. Lantern may also receive general enquiries and referrals and pass them to independent practitioners for consideration.

For practitioners, Lantern Psychology is more than a collection of consulting rooms. The Centre fosters collaboration and peer support through its shared spaces, professional community, tools and initiatives.

Lantern Psychology Centre also operates a separate, small psychology practice employing Dr Alison Christie and, at times, a small number of additional psychologists.
